Color Story: Shades of Yellow

From golden ochre to pale buttercream, we’re endlessly inspired by this hue.

Yellow is having a moment, though truthfully, it never really left. Whether it’s a buttery rose tucked into a bouquet, a marigold linen that catches the afternoon light, or a guest arriving in the perfect chartreuse silk, this color knows how to hold a room.

It’s the shade of warmth, optimism, and quiet confidence. In florals, it can feel modern and unexpected; in décor, it adds instant cheer without ever tipping into cliché. Pair it with creamy whites for something soft and romantic, or with amber and rust tones for a richer, sun-drenched palette.

We love yellow because it plays well with others, it flatters pinks, warms up neutrals, and brings depth to moody tones. It’s radiant, refined, and eternally chic — a color story we’ll never tire of.
