INTIMATE CELEBRATIONS

For Weezie and Dawson, bringing their loved ones together was the top priority, ensuring there were plenty of opportunities for everyone to connect and enjoy each other's company. The weekend celebrations kicked off Thursday evening with an intimate dinner, setting the tone for what was to come. On Friday morning, the couple hosted a friendly golf tournament, followed by a lively welcome party with a Rocky Mountain Western theme. 'It was so fun to see everyone dress the part and let loose!' The party was held at a very special venue—Weezie's godmother's restaurant, The Gashouse, in Edwards, CO.

THE LOCATION

Eaton Ranch was the perfect backdrop for the couple, offering a setting that reflected their creativity and personal style, while also showcasing the stunning natural beauty of Colorado—a place they both loved so much. 'Dawson and I chose to get married in Colorado because it’s always held a special place in our hearts. My mom has been coming here since she was young, and after my parents moved to the state, I had the chance to experience the beauty of Colorado summers firsthand. It was clear that this was the perfect place for our wedding.

COLOR STORY

Drawing inspiration from their breathtaking surroundings, the couple decided to incorporate the natural colors of Colorado’s summer landscape—lush greens paired with pops of blue, yellow, purple, and pink. 'We’re both deeply inspired by art and music, so we let that guide our decisions throughout the planning process,' they shared. For her bridesmaids, Weezie chose various shades of yellow to bring all the elements together. 'I loved how each person wore yellow in their own style—it was so beautiful to see everyone looking amazing while still reflecting their individual personalities.'

THE FLOWERS -

The couple embraced multiple floral experiences throughout both the ceremony and reception. 'I really wanted organic elements and a sense of flow in the design,' Weezie shared. 'We wanted the flowers to dictate the shape of the arrangements and avoid anything too structured or overly manipulated.' For the ceremony, they exchanged their vows surrounded by two stunning floral masterpieces designed in Mrs. Alice vessels. At the reception, floral installations cascaded from posts, while grand bar arrangements featured playful touches, including fruits and vegetables, adding a quirky and unique flair to the decor."

Bride's Favorite Moments

Favorite wedding moment?

Getting to see everything come to life after a year and a half of planning. It was better than I could have imagined.

Favorite wedding detail?

Probably a 3-way tie between the escort card lists designed by the brilliant Sam Crosby, the Wallpaper/ and drapery background of the stage by Eclectic Hive, and the Altar arrangements in the Mrs. Alice Vases

Fave food item on the menu?

My favorite menu item was the Potato chips and caviar passed out
