Mother's Day Flower Workshop

For Mother’s Day this year, one of our clients traded the traditional restaurant reservation for something far more personal: a private flower workshop and tea party brunch hosted at her Austin home, surrounded by some of her closest friends. The afternoon unfolded slowly and beautifully — tables layered with spring florals, cocktails in hand, and the kind of conversation that only happens when everyone gathers around flowers.

We filled the table with some of the season’s most exquisite blooms: delicate sweet peas, layered ranunculus, dramatic poppies, hellebore, garden roses, tulips, and anemones in soft spring tones. As guests sipped cocktails and mingled throughout the brunch, they learned foundational floral design techniques from the Margot team — from shaping movement within an arrangement to layering blooms naturally for that refined, editorial feel.

By the end of the afternoon, each guest left with their own arrangement, a new set of floral design skills, and the kind of memory that lingers long after the flowers are gone.
