THE WEDDING EDIT -WEDDING TRENDS 2023

It seems our brides and grooms are opting towards a go big or go home attitude. Not just for the big day but for the whole weekend! Here are some of the trends we have seen post covid days.

WELCOME PARTIES

Ice-breakers are not just for work! Sometimes your guests need a little push to get to know each other and better enjoy the weekend activities before the big day and a welcome party is just that. If it’s a beach wedding, a beach day soccer match or bon fire extravaganza. If it’s a local wedding, a local spot is always a good idea.

OVER THE TOP CAKES

Long gone are the days for a simple forgotten wedding cake. People are paying attention to their cakes and making them more personal and embellished.

STATEMENT AISLES

Set yourself apart from the traditional straight line with a curved aisle. One of our favorite weddings was this summer wedding which featured a soft curvature to the aisle. This year, we want to create more pronounced “S-Shape” or serpentine designs.

COLOR AND TEXTURE

You know our style, the more color the better, and our clients are not shying away from mixing patterns, colors, and textures. Bring on the extra decor moments!

SPEAKEASY AND MIDNIGHT SNACKS

The after-after party always delights and surprises guests. Brides and grooms will normally do an outfit change and feel more relaxed alongside their friends. Midnight snacks and espresso martinis delight the ongoing crowd and keep the celebrations going.
