THE CORPORATE EDIT - THE FINE ART OF LOUNGING

The two main objectives at corporate events are building morale and connecting with those in your field. Sometimes after a long work week it’s hard to switch gears and achieve those objectives. So, help your co-workers out and give them a space where they can get comfortable and feel at home. Our recommendation: lounges!

We love a good lounge! Here’s what we learned about the fine art of lounging from past events:

STYLE + COMFORT

Some of our preferred styles for lounges are those that allow for plenty of room for conversation but also keep in mind style and comfort. You want your attendees to be able to open up and feel at ease in their environment and get those conversations flowing!

GROUP LOUNGES + PERSONAL LOUNGES

If your venue is larger than life and you have plenty of room to create different size lounge areas, go for it! A wider lounge area with multiple seating options for those who like to socialize and network with different departments. Creating closer-knit places is also a good idea for smaller groups who want to have more one on one conversations.

GATHER AROUND

Place lounges in areas where the surrounding environment is buzzing. This helps disperse the crowd and helps those trying to branch out or just have a more laid-back time at the party.

OUTDOOR LOUNGING

If you know you will have amazing weather, then we suggest taking the party outdoors and creating your own canvas. Go ahead and boost morale by lounging in an outdoor space!

BALLROOM LOUNGING

When it comes to Ballroom venues, sometimes the open floor layout can make one feel like there’s not much going on. Customize and section it with fun lounge furniture and details. This will give the feeling of multiple spaces within one room.
